It’s June GoodnessMe Box review time! This month’s box arrived as Melbourne went into another lockdown, so it was very well timed! It was also full of an excellent mix of snacks, drinks, meals and other goodies. I got the vegan version as per usual, so let’s see what was inside shall we!
Tasti Super Food Balls
These little balls of quinoa and dark cacao were an excellent way to kick off the June GoodnessMe Box! They are the perfect size for a little boost with a cup of tea, and were most importantly delicious! The chickpea coating was especially interesting, and added a little crunch to the combo as well.
Ayam Curry Paste
I love curries at this time of year, so I was very happy to see this in the June box! I’ve used this brand a lot in the past – it’s one of my go-to options if I’m not making my own paste because it doesn’t have preservatives. I hadn’t tried this curry paste before though so I’m excited to give it a try. I haven’t yet used it, but it will feature on an upcoming meal plan for sure!
Nexba Kefir
I’m always happy to see these kinds of drinks in the box, and this was no exception. This sparkling kefir was seriously delicious. Refreshing, a good amount of fizz and an excellent strawberry-peach flavour. I was a very happy camper when I cracked this open and will definitely be keeping an eye out for it in store.
Amazing Oils Magnesium Flakes
I’m a big fan of magnesium for things like sore muscles, but usually have it in spray or balm form. I don’t have a bath to soak in with these, but I know they will come in handy for a foot bath or the like at some stage!
Proper Crisps Rosemary & Thyme Chips
Chips are my favourite snack food, so I was very happy to see these in the June GoodnessMe Box. I have tried this brand a couple of times and they are always excellent – this was no exception. Super crunchy, lots of flavour and a kiwi brand which always makes me happy too! In fact, this brand did a collaboration with one of my favourite kiwi beer brands too!
Pureharvest Lush Almond Milk
This milk is a blend of almond and oat which is basically a combination of my favourite two non-dairy milks! It was creamy and delicious and made for excellent oats for breakfast. I’m intrigued to try some of the other options in this range – the hazelnut, almond, macadamia blend sounds particularly good!
Hart & Soul Soup
There have been a few of these types of products in recent boxes, but I’m certainly not complaining. All the Hart & Soul products I have tried have been delicious, and they are so handy to have in the pantry for a quick lunch option. This was no exception – it was a delicious, coconutty soup that proved a great way to warm me up on a wintery Sunday.
Munchme Pumpkin Seed
This is another brand I have tried plenty of in previous GoodnessMe Boxes, but also one I am always happy to see. All the flavour combinations I have tried have been delicious, and I love that these bags are resealable so I can try and keep some for later! This pumpkin seed combo was excellent – crunchy, slightly sweet and a whole lot delicious.
Wellgrove Throat Spray
I was definitely intrigued when I saw this product in the June GoodnessMe Box. I often find myself with a dry throat in winter if I spend too much time in dry, heated environments, so having something on hand to help with that is definitely of interest. I like that this has a minty flavour too, and so far I’ve been enjoying using it.
