It’s March GoodnessMe Box review time! This month’s box was ‘Game Changer’ themed and celebrated International Women’s Day by highlighting some amazing women in the health and wellness space. This included my dear friend Sarah (aka Spoonful of Sarah) so it was pretty excellent to see her smiling face in my GoodnessMe Box! So, let’s see what else was in the March GoodnessMe Box shall we?!
NZ Skincare Company Masque
I love a face mask, so I was very happy to see this full sized seaweed hydration masque in the box! I’ve used it a couple of times so far and my skin seems to really enjoy it and looks plumper and more hydrated afterwards. I imagine I will continue to use it happily until I’m scraping the last part out of the tub!
Blue Dinosaur Super Bite
I’ve had a few of these Blue Dinosaur goodies in previous boxes, but I do love them so that’s ok! The espresso flavour is one of my favourites and made for an excellent mid-morning pick me up over the very busy March I had at work. I find these little super bites the perfect size for a snack without ruining my lunch, so I love having them in my desk drawer. Yum!
Health Kultcha
I’m not going to lie, I wasn’t quite sure of the name of this product when I saw it in the March GoodnessMe Box. Whilst I’m all for improving gut health I was a little apprehensive about giving this a try. It’s only been in the last few days that I decided to crack it open and give it a try. It wasn’t as difficult to take as I thought it might be, and I will report back with any results (or maybe not, maybe you don’t want to know!).
Peak Chocolate
My Peak Chocolate bar must have melted slightly and reformed as it was a rather odd shape when I got it out of my March GoodnessMe Box! Thankfully that didn’t impact on the flavour, nor on my enjoyment of it. With the combo of dark chocolate with lion mane’s mushroom, green tea extract and more it’s not only tasty but pretty packed with energy boosting ingredients. This is definitely a snack for earlier in the day for me!
Hart & Soul Dahl
I don’t often have ready meals on hand, but this Hart & Soul superfood dahl became a real saviour when I was rushing around one weekend. I whipped this up in no time and enjoyed it with some bread and before I knew it I had a healthy, warming and delicious meal sorted. It had lots of flavour and was an excellent mix of grains and chia seeds. Delicious!
Like Milk
I tend to be an almond milk drinker at home, so I was intrigued when I spotted this milk in this month’s box. It’s made out of pea protein and I like that it is has a decent amount of protein and vitamins in it. I don’t think it was as thick as almond milk, but definitely not as thin as something like rice milk (my least favourite). It worked really well in smoothies, but maybe wasn’t my favourite on muesli. I’d definitely be keen to try it again though!
Madame Flavour Teas
These Madame Flavour teas were in some of my favourite flavours, so I was very happy to see them in this month’s box. I’m trying to get back in to drinking more tea, and the colder weather is definitely helping, so these didn’t stick around long at all!
Macro Mike Protein
I had never heard of the Macro Mike brand before, but I guess that’s the point of these boxes! I was worried that this was going to be a bit sweet for me and whilst it definitely had a sweet, strawberry flavour it wasn’t sickly or overpowering. Turns out I really enjoyed this as a morning treat, it was like a strawberry milkshake!
