Another month, another fun box of goodies arrived on my doorstep! Here are the contents of the vegan version of the November GoodnessMe Box, and my thoughts on what was inside!
Teff Pancake Mix
One of the full sized treats in this month’s box was this pancake mix, made from teff flour. Packed with protein, fibre and iron they make for an excellent pancake mix! I loved that the box came with two sachets, each making enough pancakes for 2-3 people.
I made myself some sweet pancakes as a treat, topped with greek yogurt and fresh berries and they were deeeelicious. The pancakes were quick and easy to make, had a great texture and it was nice to know they weren’t completely unhealthy either.
Blue Dinosaur Super Bite
I had seen these Blue Dinosaur bars around before, but hadn’t tried them before so was keen to. I loved the size of the bar – perfect for a quick snack. The himalayan choc flavour I got in my box was also excellent – not too sweet and packed with ingredients you could actually see. It’s definitely the kind of snack I’d love to keep on hand!
Dr Bronner’s Castille Soap
I’ve been a fan of Dr Bronner’s for a long time – the liquid castille soap is seriously SO useful. I was pretty happy to get a bottle of it in my November GoodnessMe Box, particularly the peppermint one (one of my favourite scents!). The travel size will definitely come in handy, so I’ve popped it aside while I use up the other bottle I have on the go at the moment.
Morlife Alkalising Greens
I’ve very much on a smoothie kick at the moment, so I enjoyed having this Morlife sachet to add into the mix. Whilst it obviously wasn’t enough to know if it made much of a difference, the acai raspberry flavour was definitely delicious!
This was possibly my favourite of the smoothie add-ons I’ve tried recently, so I’ll keep an eye out for it in shops. It certainly can’t hurt to add more pre and probiotics into my diet!
Peak Chocolate
This was advertised as a pre or post workout chocolate, but given I exercise at 6am I didn’t quite feel like it then! I did however enjoy it as a mid afternoon snack! Not too sweet, slightly salty and an excellent size for a quick snack. Whether it improved my workout I can’t really know, but I enjoyed eating it nonetheless!
Kitz Living Foods
Another delicious snack in this month’s box was this coconut, banana cacao bar from Kitz Living Foods. I love that it was made of organic ingredients, and that there was absolutely nothing artificial in them. It was tasty, slightly chewy and felt pretty healthy as well. I certainly snacked well in November!
Paleo Pure Granola
I love trying new mueslis and granolas – if not to eat as they are, to top my smoothie bowls – and Paleo Pure was not a brand I had come across before. I love the combination of nuts and seeds, and that the bag was large enough for me to try a few different ways. Delicious!
Governor’s Estate Tea
I’ve got a few different tea bags in the last few GoodnessMe Boxes, so I’ve taken them all to work so I have some variety to choose from. These Governor’s Estate ones were tasty, although it’s a little hard to tell the difference between them all now!
Hart and Soul Soup
This Hart and Soul soup didn’t appear on the card that came in my box, but it was an excellent addition! It was creamy and delicious, and packed with veggies and lentils. Another product that was free from any additives or preservatives. It made an excellent quick Sunday night dinner that was healthy but ready in literally minutes!
Overally the November GoodnessMe Box was another winner, and I was a very happy camper working my way through all the goodies. An excellent idea for a Christmas present as well!
