It’s May GoodnessMe Box time! This month I accidentally got the non-vegan version of the May GoodnessMe Box delivered, but they fixed things up quick smart. In fact, within a day of me emailing the team the correct one was in the mail and on my doorstep a few days after that. How’s that for customer service! Anyway, more importantly, let’s see what was in the May GoodnessMe Box!
Kez’s Kitchen Brownies
So I don’t have a huge sweet tooth, but I really enjoyed these brownies! They were dense, bite-sized and nutty and delicious. I loved that they are fudgy without being overly sweet, and just large enough to satisfy without being over the top. An excellent treat!
Hemple Hemp Seed Oil
I’ve been loving adding hemp seeds to my diet over the last little while, so I was pretty excited to see this hemp oil in this month’s Box. I’ve been using it in salad dressings and in my winter soups and it’s been an excellent addition. It’s got a slightly nutty flavour and I love that I’m getting my omegas at the same time!
Ayam Coconut Cream
I use a lot of coconut cream at this time of year in soups and curries, so this was a much appreciated find! Ayam has been one of my go-to brands as well, so this got used pretty much straight away. I love that its purely coconut in the can, no additives or fillers to be found. Perfect!
Pimp My Salad Cashew Parmesan
This cashew parmesan was probably my favourite addition to the May GoodnessMe Box! I have had some of this in my pantry in the past, so know it will get used to add some deliciousness to my cooking over the next few weeks. In fact, this won’t last long at all in my house! It’s such a simple way to add some excellent additional flavour to salads, pastas, roast veggies and the like. So good!
Nexba Sparkling Water
I was surprised by how much I liked this sparkling water! For someone who doesn’t really love watermelon flavoured things, nor things flavoured with stevia, I seriously enjoyed this drink. It was refreshing, bubbly and I seriously liked the flavour. I’m very keen to try the lemon and lime flavour now!
Kitz Living Food Bar
I’ve been enjoying trying the range of these bars over previous GoodnessMe Boxes, and this was another winner. It was not too sweet, and the combo of coconut and cranberry is always delicious. These are such excellent bars to pop in my drawer at work for those days that I need something to get me through a busy afternoon. The way it keeps my work-snack supply topped up is one of my favourite things about my GoodnessMe Box subscription!
Chibbs Puffed Chickpeas
I love savoury snacks and I love chickpeas, so unsurprisingly I loved these too! Crunchy, with a delicious tomato flavour, it was hard to stop eating them. I definitely want to try the hot and spicy flavour, and probably the lightly salted one too – actually I think I should order a mixed box and be done with it!
Masuta Matcha
I have a pretty good matcha supply at home (the owners of Matcha Maiden are old friends of mine!) so I popped this one in my bag to add to the tea collection at work. It was incredibly well received and has almost all been used up now, which I’m taking as a success!
A Bit Hippy Scalp Conditioner
I’m all about natural skincare and haircare, so I was excited to see this new (to me) brand in the May GoodnessMe Box. I haven’t actually given it a try yet as I figure it will be an excellent size to travel with. It has excellent sounding ingredients though, and I’m keen to explore more of their range too! In particular the mozzie spray – I’ll try anything to keep mozzies at bay given how much they love me!
