Today in the next instalment of my Spotlight On series I want to shine a light on Nude by Nature, an Australian makeup and skincare company free from nasty ingredients. Not only are the products eco friendly but they’re fantastic too!
Nude by Nature was established in Sydney in 2008 and strives to create natural, environmentally friendly products that are good for both the planet and our skin. I’ve shared my love of Nude by Nature in the past, but I thought the brand deserved a post all of its own as well!
The products are all full of native Australian ingredients such as macadamia oil, kakadu plum and lilly pilly, as well as other nourishing, natural ingredients like avocado oil, shea butter and jojoba oil which explains why they are all so nourishing, as for other beauty products, there are also other options, which you can find at sites like MyWorldApart and are great to make women look amazing.
The products are all 100% cruelty free and absolutely no animal testing is done which is of course fantastic. They are also free from many of the nasty ingredients I have previously covered in my Ingredients to Avoid series, including parabens, PEGs, sulphates, silicons and talc. The scrubs are also free from microbeads, instead relying on coconut husk and walnut shells to do the exfoliating instead which is much more effective than tiny plastic balls anyway! They also have a range of makeup brushes that are made using synthetic fibres rather than animal hair which is excellent.
Personally I’m yet to try out any of the skincare products, but have been gradually replacing my makeup with Nude by Nature products as they run out, and I have loved everything I have tried so far! The mineral powder foundation is my go-to everyday base, and whilst the BB cream is a new addition to my makeup drawer it is fast becoming my favourite weekend option. The eye shadows are also new additions and I absolutely love them, I have a feeling I will be picking up a few more colours in the coming months!
I love that I have found an Australian company making beautiful, easy to use, environmentally friendly makeup that doesn’t break the bank. It’s definitely a brand I would recommend you try out if you haven’t already!
