I wanted a veggie packed breakfast and lunch option recently that also had some protein as well. This sweet potato mushroom frittata ticked all the boxes – plus it’s delicious too! Whip it up on a Sunday and you’ll be a happy camper all week long.
Recipe: Zucchini Tomato Slice
I got a bounty of zucchinis from mum’s veggie patch recently so needed a delicious way to use them. This zucchini tomato slice was an absolute winning choice and made for the perfect work lunch too!
Review: Archie’s All Day, Fitzroy
It’s been quite some time since I’ve shared a restaurant review here on I Spy Plum Pie, but I’m rectifying that today! While my sister, Pip, stayed with me we decided to hit up a local cafe for brunch and settled on Archie’s All Day, up on Gertrude Street in Fitzroy. I’d been up for a drink not long after it opened but was yet to sample the menu, so I was keen try it out. It’s always busy on the weekends, so my expectations were set pretty high!
Review: Miss Alex & Co, Elwood

Recipe: Zucchini, Pea & Feta Tarts
These deliciously eggy tarts are a variation on the Sundried Tomato & Feta ones I made back in January and are perfect for a grab & go breakfast, or as a light lunch when served with a side salad. This time they’re zucchini, pea & feta tarts instead!
