When the weather gets warmer I find myself gravitating back to smoothies for breakfast. What I don’t want though is to find myself super hungry only a few hours later. I have tried lots of ways to make my smoothies more filling, and here are my favourites! I’d love to hear your suggestions too!
September Favourite Finds 2016
My September Favourite Finds are very liquid heavy this time around – from the healthy to the not so healthy kind! I had a pretty excellent month all round, including a glorious week spent in sunny Port Douglas (more on that in a separate post!) and lots of other fun times along the way. November Favourite Finds
It’s time for my November Favourite Finds! It’s been a much quieter month than my event-filled October, which as we head towards the end of the year was probably a good thing! This month’s favourite finds are an eclectic bunch, but that’s a pretty good reflection of my month too! I’d love hear your November favourite finds too!
April Challenges
Somehow April appears to have turned into a ‘challenges’ month for me – albeit of the fun kind! I finally decided to participate in both Fat Mum Slim’s Photo a Day Challenge, and Fox in Flats Style Dare a Day Challenge, as well as the Simple Green Smoothie‘s 30 Day Challenge (kind-of!).
Building a Smoothie
Now that I have a blender that actually, y’know, blends things, I’m back to making smoothies as my breakfast of choice most days. I love the variety and I’m always trying new combinations, but there is a rough recipe of sorts I use for all my smoothies that I thought I would share with you.
